In anticipation of the 16th Annual Research Symposium 2024, the Faculty of Agriculture organized a pre-symposium workshop focused on enhancing research skills. The online session, titled “Reference Management Using Mendeley,” was held on September 13, 2024, from 20:00 to 21:00. Mr. U. Ahamed, the Assistant Librarian at the Main Library, led the workshop, providing participants with valuable insights into effective reference management.
During the session, attendees learned about the essential steps for using Mendeley, including offline installation and plugin configurations. Mr. Ahamed guided participants through the process of creating a Mendeley account and demonstrated how to link online resources effectively. He also discussed methods for extracting reference lists, which are crucial for academic writing and research documentation.
