It gives me great pleasure to welcome you all to the Library System of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka (RUSL). Our primary mission is to support your academic journey by providing the information and knowledge necessary for teaching, learning, and research.
Our Library is not merely a place to borrow books; it is an academic and
research hub that encourages knowledge exploration, development of new ideas, improvement of research skills, and lifelong learning. Comprising the Main Library and faculty libraries, the RUSL Library System serves the diverse information needs of the University’s students, academic staff, researchers, and other library users.
We provide access to a wide range of information resources, including printed books, journals, and other academic materials, as well as e-books, electronic journals, academic databases, and other digital resources. In addition, our Institutional Repository serves as a valuable platform for accessing the University’s research publications, theses, dissertations, and other scholarly outputs. The library also provides various services and guidance to help users to find and retrieve information, evaluate its reliability, use information accurately and ethically, and develop the skills required for research. Our dedicated library staff is always ready to answer your inquiries and guide you towards appropriate resources and services.
