Expansion of Wi-Fi Coverage at the Main Library

The Main Library has further enhanced its wireless internet facilities by expanding Wi-Fi coverage throughout the library premises. As part of this improvement, a set of new Wi-Fi access points were installed from 06 October 2026, significantly extending wireless network coverage and improving internet accessibility for library users.

The newly installed access points provide more comprehensive Wi-Fi coverage across the Main Library, enabling students, academic staff, and other library users to access online resources and internet-based services more conveniently while using the library.

This enhancement is expected to support the increasing demand for reliable internet connectivity and facilitate access to the Library’s digital resources, online databases, e-books, institutional repository, and other electronic services.

The Main Library continues to enhance its technological infrastructure and digital services to provide a more efficient and user-friendly learning and research environment for the university community. Library users are kindly requested to complete the Wi-Fi access application form, available at the Main Library counter service, to make use of the newly introduced Wi-Fi facilities.
