Interlibrary Loan

Inter-Library Loan (ILL) is a valuable service provided by Sri Lankan universities that allows students and staff members to access resources not available in their own university’s library. With ILL, users can request books from other university libraries.

Through this facility, Sri Lankan universities foster a collaborative environment, enabling students and researchers to expand their knowledge and explore a broader range of academic resources. Whether it’s a rare book needed for study or research purposes. The ILL service facilitates the borrowing and delivery of materials from one library to another.

You can submit an ILL request to the library via email or physically by filling out the request form.

Once the requested item arrives at our library, it will be made available to you for borrowing. You can conveniently check out and take home or to your preferred study space. You’ll have the opportunity to explore and delve into the resource for a specified borrowing period.
