An orientation programme for the 2026/2027 batch of Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) students was conducted on 25 July 2026.
As part of the programme, a session on Library Resources and Services was conducted to familiarise the newly enrolled students with the Library and its available resources and services. The session was conducted by Mrs. Asoka Siriwardana, Librarian, and Ms. Kaushalya Wijerathne, Assistant Librarian.
The session introduced students to the Library’s resources, facilities, and services and provided guidance on how to effectively access and utilise them for their academic activities, learning, and research. The programme aimed to help students become familiar with the Library and make maximum use of its resources and services throughout their academic journey.
