The Library Orientation Programme for first-year students of the Tourism and Hospitality Management Degree Programme, Faculty of Management Studies, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, was successfully conducted on 27 May 2026 at the Main Library.
The programme introduced students to library facilities, services, resources, and regulations, followed by a guided library tour. An introductory session on academic citation practices was also conducted, highlighting the importance of academic integrity and plagiarism prevention.
The programme was facilitated by Librarian Mrs Asoka Siriwardana and Assistant Librarian Ms M.G.H.K. Wijerathne. It enhanced students’ awareness of library resources and encouraged the effective use of library services throughout their academic journey.
