An orientation programme was conducted for the 2022 batch in the Faculty of Agriculture on 25th and 26th of September 2023. The aims of this programmes was introducing the library and its services to the students, and introducing Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC). Students had the opportunity to physically visit and explore the library during this programme.

The Library of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka organized an outreach program for school students of the Yakalla Maha Vidyalaya, Anuradhapura on August 15, 2023. During this event, Mrs. W.P.T. The Library User Awareness Programme was held on 31st May 2023 for the undergraduates of the AG/2018 batch of the Faculty of Agriculture from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm. The program consisted of a demonstration on how to use the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC), Electronic Database searching, useful Web links for academic needs and the use of Digital Library.
