The official website launching of the library along with the six faculty websites of the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka was held ceremonially at the University’s main auditorium on October 3, 2023. The ceremony was chaired by the Vice-Chancellor of the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, Prof. (Mrs) GAS. Ginigaddara, and the Deans of the six faculties: Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Management Studies, Faculty of Medicine and Allied Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, and Faculty of Technology. Mrs. WPT. Dilrukshi, the Acting Librarian of the university also joined the event. The official library websites were launched Mrs. WPT. Dilrukshi, the Acting Librarian. A brief introduction of the library website was delivered by the Mr. Uthumansa Ahamed, Webmaster of the University and temporary Assistant Librarian at main library.
